The Building Up Bonesteel/Fairfax housing group now has three lots officially listed for sale in the City of Bonesteel. You can view those listings online at cityofbonesteel.com, and also keep up with the project on the City of Bonesteel Facebook page.
Two lots are located on Garrison street, which is one block west of Main Street. The lot at 603 Garrison includes a house which must be torn down, as a contingency of the sale. Both of the lots on Garrison measure at 100’ x 140’ which is plenty of space to build a nice new home or shouse with boat/camper storage.
There is one lot available on McKinley which is 50’ x 140’ and ready to build on. This is located just one block east of South Central School and would be a great location for a governor’s home or any new build.
These three lots are just the beginning of what’s to come from this project. The group is working to continue to add properties to the sale listings, as well as plan the next phase of the project which focuses more on clean up in town.
